Monkey in The Mango Tree

There was a mango grove next to the forest. A monkey came from the forest playing with a coconut shell and climbed up the mango tree. He looked around for a nice ripe mango.

When he was about to pluck the mango, the mango said “who are you to pluck me, have you ever planted a mango tree like the farmer did?”

The monkey replied, “I have not planted this tree, but I have helped many trees to grow.”

The mango asked, “Did you ever pour water for any tree?”

The monkey said, “is there any farmer, who can pour as much water as, the rain god gives?”

The mango again asked, “Have you ever given manure to this plant.”

The monkey replied, “The fallen leaves from your tree have given more manure than you need.”

The mango said, “the farmer has put a fence from this end to that end.”

The monkey asked, “Can you tell me what this end and that end to the earth?”

Suddenly the monkey heard a stone hitting the coconut shell. And when he looked around he saw a man running towards him waving a catapult in his hand.

The monkey grabbed the mango and ran away into the forest.

He found a quite place and started enjoying the delicious mango. After eating the mango he licked his lips and threw the seed in a damp place for it to grow.
